I signed up for his newsletters and got some good tips from them but I haven't done his course.
If you live in New Zealand there is a really good course on learning more about promotion in the creative feild. Check out their website for the details

I think the hardest thing ever is selling your work online, its a great tool for showcasing your work and getting it out to as many people as possible, but do people actually buy art that they haven,t seen in the flesh?

I agree with you Alan! Websites are a place for you to showcase your work and introduced your work to new clients. Plus they are great for your existing customers to keep up to date with your new work.
You don't get to feel all the emotions of a painting from a photo.

I have to agree with Dee, website photos dont reflect the life in a painting. If there is any easy answer to promotion of your art without selling yourself to the brush for years I would like to know about it.

I don't think there are any answers in finding a quick solution to selling art. The longer you are in it the easier it becomes. Like anything really, Remember Rome wasn't built in one day. It has taken me many years to get to today.
